Director of EHS in Janesville, WI.
We are recruiting for a full-time Director of EHS position as an employee of our manufacturing client in Janesville, WI. The position requires being on-site in Janesville, WI. Relocation assistance within the US is available. This is one of over 50 current EHS positions being recruited for nationwide.

What you will be doing:
Reporting to the VP of Operations, the EHS Manager will be responsible for the development, management, overall direction and oversight of EHS programs to support the organization.
You will design, implement, audit and continuously improve EHS practices, policies and procedures with the goal of achieving the highest levels of protection for employees and company assets
Minimum requirements for the position are:
- Unrestricted authorization to work for any employer in the United States.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to commute or relocate to Janesville, WI on a daily basis.
- 10+ years of EHS management experience in manufacturing or food production environments
- Proven success directing EHS over multiple sites
Additional preferred competencies include:
- Professional Certification (i.e. CSP, CIH, CHMM, REHS, MSP, REM, CEP, etc.)
Primary responsibilities include:
- Be a 'boots on the ground" partner leadership team member and serve as SME regarding interpretation and application of federal, state and local EHS regulations.
- Establish and implement EHS goals and strategies.
- Design and lead employee training programs regarding EHS behaviors and compliance.
- Lead EHS audits and inspections developing remediation plans as needed.
- Lead multi-media environmental compliance including, but not limited to: Water (SPCC, storm); Waste (hazardous and non-hazardous); Air (internal respiratory and external emissions)
- Build and maintain positive relationships with federal, state and local regulators.
- Lead Continuous Improvement initiative regarding EHS policies and programs.
- Maintain and ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state and local EHS regulations.

Salary range: $125,000 to $165,000
