We are recruiting for a full-time position as an employee of our manufacturing client in Mentor, OH. The position requires being on-site in Mentor, OH. Relocation assistance within the US is available. This is one of over 50 current EHS positions being recruited for nationwide. 

What you will be doing:
Reporting to the plant manager, the EHS Manager will be responsible for the management, overall direction and oversight of EHS programs to support the facility. 
You will implement, audit and continuously improve EHS practices, policies and procedures with the goal of achieving the highest levels of protection for employees and company assets, while working with operations and other business leaders to achieve the highest levels of efficient productivity.


Minimum requirements for the position are:Unrestricted authorization to work for any employer in the United States.

  • Ability to commute or relocate to Mentor, OH on a daily basis.
  • Bachelor's Degree in EHS, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related discipline.
  • Five (5) or more years of EHS management experience.

  • Additional preferred competencies include:    10 or more years of EHS management experience in manufacturing environments.
  • Professional Certification from a nationally recognized organization.
  • MBA or Master's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline.
