Is your organization ready to update its COVID-19 compliance?

According to Government Executive, President Biden has signed an executive order aimed at OSHA, which:

“…directs OSHA to work with the appropriate agencies to: revise COVID guidelines for workplace safety within two weeks; consider if emergency temporary standards for COVID-19 are needed (if so, issue them by March 15); review OSHA’s enforcement practices for the pandemic and identify any needed changes; launch a national program centered on the agency’s enforcement protocols; and work with the Labor Department’s public affairs and public engagement offices and all regional OSHA offices on a multilingual outreach campaign to educate workers on their rights.”

We have changed the 2021 Indiana Safety & Health Conference to a fully virtual program in order to protect all participants. Additionally, we want to help attendees better understand how to be in compliance with essential COVID-19 protocols. Topics will include:
  • Safety in a post-pandemic world
  • Ventilation systems and pandemic illness: Control and maintenance basics
  • Confidently exercising employer rights in a post-pandemic OSHA inspection
  • How the presidential election and federal OSHA will impact IOSHA in 2021
  • Safe return of the Greyhounds to campus: UIndy’s experience in contact tracing during COVID-19
  • COVID-19 management: Federal OSHA vs. the states
  • COVID and beyond: Preparedness perspective
  • And more!
Presented by the ASSP Central Indiana Chapter and the Indiana Chamber of Commerce in partnership with INSafe and the Coalition for Construction Safety, the virtual conference will offer continuing education credits to meet your needs, a robust safety expo and much more!
